Ithiri Neram 2025 Storyline
The film unfolds over the course of a single evening in Thiruvananthapuram. The protagonist, Anish (Roshan Mathew), is a successful man who is married and has a young child. His life seems settled as he prepares for his son’s baptism ceremony scheduled for the next day. However, his evening takes an unexpected turn when he receives a phone call from his college ex-girlfriend, Anjana (Zarin Shihab), who has returned to the city after many years.
Anjana is about to leave the country permanently the following morning, and she wishes to meet Anish one last time. Despite his family commitments, Anish decides to meet her. The two spend the entire night traveling across the city, visiting bars, and walking through familiar streets. As the night progresses, their conversation shifts from awkward small talk to deep, suppressed emotions. They revisit the painful reasons behind their breakup nearly a decade ago and confront the “what ifs” of their lives. The story beautifully explores the concept of “closure”—showing that while life moves on, certain memories and people always leave a permanent mark on one’s soul.
