Real Kashmir Football Club s1 Storyline
The series is set in the aftermath of the devastating 2014 Kashmir floods. Sohail Mir (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub), a disillusioned journalist, decides to quit his job to bring a positive change to the lives of the frustrated youth in Srinagar. He dreams of building a world-class football club but lacks the resources.
He teams up with Shirish Kemmu (Manav Kaul), a Kashmiri Pandit businessman who has returned to his roots to start a venture. Despite their different backgrounds and the socio-political tensions surrounding them, they find common ground in their passion for the sport. Together with Mustafa Durrani (Mu’azzam Bhat), a former local star turned coach, they hold open tryouts—often using scooter headlights as floodlights. The story follows their struggle against bureaucratic hurdles, personal tragedies, and local skepticism as they assemble a team of “underdogs” to eventually compete in the national I-League.
