Lupin Season 4 Storyline
Part 4 picks up directly from the shocking finale of Part 3, where Assane Diop (Omar Sy) voluntarily turned himself in to the police to protect his family.
The Prison Rivalry: The biggest twist was the reveal that Assane’s neighboring cellmate is his arch-nemesis, Hubert Pellegrini (Hervé Pierre). Season 4 will explore their psychological warfare behind bars. Pellegrini, who framed Assane’s father decades ago, appears to be orchestrating a new plot to destroy Assane from within the prison walls.
The Mother’s Secret: The finale of Part 3 hinted that Assane’s mother, Mariama, might have deeper secrets. A cryptic message involving the book The Cagliostro’s Revenge suggests she or someone close to her may be involved in a larger manipulation.
A “Holmes” Level Threat: Series creator George Kay has teased that the new season may introduce a rival worthy of “locking antlers” with Assane, potentially drawing inspiration from the literary rivalry between Arsène Lupin and a Sherlock Holmes-style character (often called Herlock Sholmès in the original books).
