His & Hers (2026) is an upcoming psychological thriller limited series on Netflix, adapted from the bestselling novel by Alice Feeney. Featuring a powerhouse cast and a “two sides to every story” narrative, it is set to be one of the first major streaming hits of 2026.
The series is a six-episode limited project produced by Jessica Chastain’s Freckle Films and directed by William Oldroyd (Lady Macbeth). Starring Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, the show is set in the sweltering heat of Georgia and Atlanta. It utilizes a fractured narrative style where the truth is split between two unreliable perspectives—Anna’s and Jack’s—leaving the audience to figure out who is lying. All episodes are scheduled to drop simultaneously on January 8, 2026.

His & Hers 2026 OTT Storyline
The plot centers on Anna Andrews (Tessa Thompson), a former high-profile news anchor who has become a recluse following a personal tragedy and professional setback. Her quiet life is disrupted when she hears about a gruesome murder in Dahlonega, the small Georgia town where she grew up. Driven by a desperate need for a career comeback and a mysterious personal connection to the town, Anna returns to the scene to investigate.
There, she crosses paths with Detective Jack Harper (Jon Bernthal), who is leading the official murder investigation. Jack and Anna are estranged spouses, and their reunion is immediately filled with tension and mutual suspicion. As the investigation deepens, it becomes clear that both Anna and Jack are hiding dark secrets from their shared past. The “conundrum” lies in the fact that they are essentially competing to solve a case where each believes the other might be the primary suspect. The story explores themes of memory, marital betrayal, and the subjective nature of truth.
