Mrs Deshpande S1 Storyline
The story centers on Seema Deshpande (Madhuri Dixit), a woman who has spent 25 years in solitary confinement for a series of brutal murders. While the public remembers her as a monster, Seema views herself as a vigilante who targeted societal villains like rapists and pedophiles.
The status quo is shattered when a new serial killer begins murdering victims using Seema’s exact, signature methods—strangling them with green plastic rope and posing them in front of mirrors. Commissioner Arun (Priyanshu Chatterjee), the officer who originally arrested Seema, visits her in prison to ask for help.
The emotional core of the series lies in the fact that Tejas is Seema’s estranged son, who has grown up believing his mother was dead and is unaware of her dark past. As they hunt the copycat, the duo must navigate a twisted “chess match” of wits while their own traumatic family history slowly unravels.
