Sirai Movie 2025 Storyline
Set in the year 2003, the story follows Kathiravan (Vikram Prabhu), a dedicated police constable who is currently facing an internal inquiry regarding a previous encounter. To test his discipline, his superiors assign him the high-pressure task of escorting a murder convict named Abdul (LK Akshay Kumar) from Vellore Prison to a court in Sivagangai.
What begins as a standard prisoner transport mission quickly turns into a deep psychological and moral journey. As they travel across the state, Kathiravan begins to observe Abdul’s behavior and starts questioning the official narrative of his crime. The plot uncovers layers of systemic corruption, caste-based prejudice, and the harsh realities of the police hierarchy. The core of the film explores the dynamic between the “captor” and the “prisoner,” as Kathiravan must decide whether to follow the law blindly or listen to his conscience to ensure justice is truly served.
