The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 Storyline
Season 4 picks up immediately after the shocking cliffhanger of Season 3, where Mickey was pulled over and a dead body—former client Sam Scales—was discovered in his trunk.
The Trial: Mickey is charged with murder and must defend himself while in custody. The stakes are at an all-time high as his reputation, freedom, and life are on the line.
The New Villain: Mickey faces off against a relentless new prosecutor, Dana Berg (Constance Zimmer), nicknamed “Death Row Dana” for her ruthless pursuit of guilty verdicts.
The Team: Lorna, Cisco, and Izzy must work outside the jail to unravel Sam Scales’ final scam and find the real killer, while Mickey’s ex-wife Maggie (Neve Campbell) returns in an expanded role to support him.
Mickey as the Client: This season flips the script. Mickey has to take his own advice, which he finds much harder to follow when he’s the one behind bars.
Neve Campbell’s Return: After having a smaller role in Season 3, Neve Campbell is back as a series regular, which is great news for fans of the Mickey-Maggie dynamic.
Season 5 Confirmed: In a rare move, Netflix officially renewed the show for a fifth season yesterday (January 31, 2026), meaning we already know the ride continues after this trial!
Guest Stars: Look out for Kyle Richards as a glamorous Beverly Hills client and Cobie Smulders in a mysterious new role that will impact Mickey’s case.
